Museum of Digital Exhibits of Aigialeia of Greek Revolution 1821

The Municipality of Aigialeia and the Municipal Public Benefit Enterprise of Aigialeia opened the Museum of Digital Exhibits of Aigialeia on 26th of September 2021. This is a project that was completed in close cooperation with the Region of Western Greece and under the auspices of the Commission “Greece 2021”, after months of digitization of documented historical material and rare archival data.
Modern technological tools are combined with the thematic character of the rooms on the first floor of the Panagiotopoulos Mansion, an ornament of the city of Aigio, but also with interesting conventional exhibits that enliven the historical memory.
The three rooms of the Museum concern the role of the Secret Assembly of Vostitsa in the preparation and the beginning of the Race, the historical events that unfolded in the area of ​​Aigialeia and finally the great Fighter, Andreas Londos.
